Two Days “Junior Ideathon 2022” was organized by ACIC-Mepco Innovative Foundation on 13/10/2022 and 14/10/2022. Junior Ideathon’ 22 had four months journey to reach this stage, starting from the registration. We have approached around 250 Schools in and around Virudhunagar to emphasize and provide wide publicity about this School level Project exhibition of Innovations and asked to submit the project abstracts in various themes such as Buoyancy, Renewable energy, Waste management, Healthcare, Robotics, Moderns Agriculture Equipment, Disaster management, etc. 67 Batches from various Schools in and around Virudhunagar have submitted their project abstracts. Out of which, 52 batches were shortlisted by Subject experts from various departments of Mepco Schlenk Engineering College. Inaugural function of “Junior Ideathon 2022” was conducted on 13/10/2022 at 10.00 am in Science & Humanities Seminar Hall, Mepco Schlenk Engg. College (Autonomous), Sivakasi.
Dr.S.Syed Ameer Abbas, CEO- ACIC-MIF delivered the Welcome Address. Dr.S.G.K.Manikandan, Dy. General Manager, Welding and Coating Facilities, EAIE, IPRC, ISRO, Mahendragiri was the Chief Guest of Inaugural function and delivered the Inaugural address for the Entrepreneurial aspirants from various schools. Dr.N.Rajesh Jesudoss Hynes, SPoC, ACIC-MIF elaborated about the importance of Entrepreneurship and ACIC-MIF activities.
Chief Guest of Valedictory function, Shri. G.Simiyon, Assistant Director/Head of office, Tirunelveli, Government of India, Ministry of MSME awarded the prizes for winners, all participants and mentors.
